Just like in the fairytale, the Beanstalk began as a seed of an idea and grew into a huge entertainment and comfort center for your cat. The top is a 30" by 40" platform shaped like a "cloud", and has two holes through which your cat can climb. The top bed is padded and contains our special thermal liner to retain your cat's heat while they are sleeping or just relaxing. A total of ten large sculptured leaves surround the trunk. Each leaf is contoured to "snuggle" your cat, has an extra layer of padding, and is lined with our thermal layer to retain heat - your cat will have a tough choice of where to lay next. A 4" round Vain has been added to the trunk in a serpentine affect to make it appear more like a "Beanstalk" and provide another feature to entertain your cat. The base is 34" round for stability and guarantees the Cat Tree will not tip during normal use. The entire Cat Tree is lined with high grade carpeting giving you and your cat years of trouble free wear and tear. This Cat Tree we call the "Little Oak" and its almost the spitting image of the "Big Oak". It's made of the same quality materials and workmanship as its bigger brother, but its just two feet shorter. This Cat Tree still provides multi-level climbing layers, several scratching areas, and plenty of resting space. The number of large leaves is the same in both units (four). These large leaves are sculptured to nestle your cat and provide additional comfort with extra padding and our thermal layer which retains your cat's body heat. Each leaf is attached to the trunk with a special brace that allows it to "flex" under the cat's weight. Thus when your cat climbs or jumps onto a leaf it has a built-in shock absorber that cushions the landing and is easier on your cat's joints and back. There are nine holes to keep "curiosity" at its peak, each leading to the center of the trunk with its 12" diameter which is fully lined.
